  19. You cannot get the video to work correctly under Windows NT on a
  20. Toshiba 4400sx monochrome computer with an external monitor. This is
  21. caused by the Western Digital (WD) video driver. The WD driver
  22. expects the WD chip set on the 4400sx to be standard when in fact it
  23. is a slightly modified version designed specially for the Toshiba
  24. monochrome computer. The WD driver does not use the proper unlocking
  25. code and is not able to write anything to the video adapter.

  30. Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT and
  31. Windows NT Advanced Server version 3.1. This problem was corrected in
  32. the latest U.S. Service Pack for Windows NT and Windows NT Advanced
  33. Server version 3.1. For information on obtaining the Service Pack,
  34. query on the following word in the Microsoft Knowledge Base (without
